Past, Present, and Future.
Our founders Lew Miller and Mark Geyer decided to venture on their own in 1999 and together they founded the real estate law firm of Geyer & Miller based on the principals of a deep commitment to providing the utmost service for their clients. Their experience in big firms and their in- house counsel positions for a Fortune 50 retailer gave them more experience under their belt to tackle the task of creating their own law firm. With their breadth of experience ranging from shopping center to commercial retail development to supermarket and drug store leasing and development; their seasoned skills were proven successful time and time again in closing deals across the country for both large and smaller clients. Our particular experience has been in shopping center and commercial retail development, with a specialized focus on supermarket and drug store leasing and development. We have successfully represented clients from acquisition through construction lending to negotiation of end-user leases.
What's in a Name?
Through a few name changes, Geyer & Miller transitioned to Ward Miller & Geyer, and eventually into Miller Geyer & Stewart. With each transformation, we have maintained the constant attitude of being "deal makers, not deal breakers." Founder Mark Geyer passed away in 2009 after a valiant batter with cancer, but his ideals, vision, and dedication to his clients remain the foundation of our firm and guide us to this day.
